2026 CCM Creativity Book Launch

Dermot Bolger, the noted Irish writer helped launched the 2026 CCM Creativity Book on March 23rd.

He recalled to students the valuable advice received as a young writer from the Dublin literary critic, Anthony Cronin: skip writing “poetic” subjects in imitation of others and instead “just write about your own life”. This is exactly what the CCM Creativity Book brings together. Now in its fifth year, the book showcases outstanding poems and accompanying art in which students describe their own lived experiences.

Congratulations to all students included this year and to the eight winners in the Poetry and Art categories.
