Final CCM Poem of the Week
Locker Talk - Final CCM Poem of the Week
At the end of another year, as students empty them out, Danah Domingo’s poem, “Locker Talk”, reminds us that lockers do much more than store books! They’re also an important space where students meet, develop relationships and chat about school life.
Danah’s poem humorously reflects these teenage experiences and is accompanied by images from Alexi Xanthea Mendez, 5 Liffey (lockers) and Belle Carroll, 1 Erne (heart).
Thanks again to all CCM students who submitted art and poems to the 2025 Creativity Book. We look forward to more minor masterpieces next year! Finally, can we wish everyone an enjoyable and safe summer.
Locker Talk
He always gives mixed signals.
Mixed signals everywhere.
He says he likes me one day,
The next he doesn’t care.
My friends say that he’s worthless,
But in my eyes he’s worth it.
He has me in a bend
He says he likes me as a friend.
Kind of hard to comprehend.
But maybe in the end
We’re better off as friends
